Giulio Napolitano

Giulio Napolitano (born 12.07.1969) is full professor of Public Law in the Faculty of Political Science at the University of “Roma Tre” (Department of Public Institutions, Economics and Society, Via Chiabrera 199, 00145 Roma). Among the main publications, in the italian language, Public Utilities and Consumers Contracts, Padova, Cedam, 2001; Public and Private in Administrative Law, Milano, Giuffrè, 2003; Rules and Market in Public Utilities, Bologna, Il Mulino, 2005; Comparative Administrative Law (editor), Milano, Giuffrè, 2007; Economic Analysis of Public Law, Bologna, Il Mulino, 2009; in English, Towards a European Legal Order for Services of General Economic Interest, in European Public Law, 2005, p. 565 ss. He is a Member of the Steering Committe of the EGPL - European Group of Public Law, and a Co-editor of the Reviews “Economics of Services” (il Mulino) and “Law and Policies of European Union” (Giappichelli). He is a regular visiting in the Max-Planck-Institut für ausländisches öffentliches Recht und Völkerrecht di Heidelberg and he spent a visiting period in July-September 2008 as a Program affiliate scholar in the School of Law of the New York University.
