Johannes Saurer

Johannes Saurer holds a position as Akademischer Rat (approx. equivalent to an assistant professor in the U.S.) at the University of Bayreuth in Germany, where he teaches courses in constitutional and administrative law. He is a graduate of the University of Tuebingen (First State Examination in Law 2002), the University of Bayreuth (Dr. iur. 2004) and the Yale Law School (LL.M. 2008). Mr. Saurer's publications include articles on German and European administrative law, European business law, anti-terrorism legislation, environmental law and legal philosophy. In2005 his monograph "Die Funktionen der Rechtsverordnung" (The Functions of Delegated Legislation) was published by Duncker & Humblot, Berlin with the support of publication grants from the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the German Federal Legislature (Deutscher Bundestag).
