LSO Summer Internships
Each summer the Jerome N. Frank Legal Services Organization of Yale Law School (LSO) has an intern program of approximately 20-25 part and full time students, from Yale and other law schools. The program officially runs from the day after Memorial Day until the Friday before Labor Day. It is possible to start prior to Memorial Day. Most students work full time (40 hours per week) for twelve weeks.  The stipend for the 2008 summer is $12.75 per hour.

The clinics usually operating during the summer are as follows:
1. Advocacy for Children and Youth
2. Community Development Financial Institutions
3. Community and Economic Development
4. Complex Federal Litigation/Prison Legal Services
5. Domestic Violence Clinic
6. Immigration Legal Services
7. Landlord Tenant Legal Services
8. Legal Services for Immigrant Communities
9. Worker and Immigrant Rights Advocacy Clinic

Students from past years have found the experience very rewarding and fun. E-mail kathryn.jannke@yale.edu with a resume, writing sample and cover letter stating your interests. See the rest of our website at www.law.yale.edu/lso for more information on the summer clinics.
