About Letters of Recommendation
Give one Memorandum sheet to each person you ask to write a recommendation. You may also wish to give copies of your application materials to your recommenders. Duplicate the Memorandum if you need more than two. If you do not sign the waiver, you should make it clear to those whom you ask to write letters that the letters will be available to you.

Please ask your recommenders (or an authorized person at your credential service) to seal the envelopes, sign and date them, and return them to you. If a recommender would prefer not to give the recommendation to you, please have him or her mail it directly to the LL.M. Program at Yale Law School.

Additional recommendations are welcome, but only two are expected and required. The requirement will be deemed complete when two letters of recommendation have arrived.
