Applying for a Yale Student Loan
Students whose loan needs exceed federal limits or who are not eligible for federal or supplemental loans or whose private loan need is less than $1,000 may apply for Yale Student Loans (YSL). The interest rate is fixed by the University at 7.5% with a six month grace period. YSL loans do not have origination and guaranty fees.
To apply for the Yale Student Loan you must complete the Notification and Confirmation Form.
Deadline: Loan applications are due in the Financial Aid Office by May 1, 2008.
