Selection of the Executive Committee
A nominating committee meets to select each "20-member class" of Executive Committee members from a list of candidates recommended by faculty, administrators, Executive Committee members, or by self-recommendation. Members are chosen on the basis of geographic area, area of expertise, class year, and diversity, among other factors. Law School Administrators select the regional representatives and Association of Yale Alumni delegates.
