On January 16 YLS graduates in the Washington, DC area attended a panel discussion at Covington & Burling sponsored by the Yale Law School Center for the Study of Corporate Law on "The Long Arm of the Law: Criminal and Civil Enforcement in Corporate Governance after Enron and the Backdating Scandal." Panelists were James Doty '69, Partner, Baker Botts LLP; Linda Chatman Thomsen, Director, Division of Enforcement, United States Securities and Exchange Commission; Roberta Romano '80, Oscar M. Ruebhausen Professor of Law at YLS and Director of the Center; and Kate Stith, Lafayette S. Foster Professor of Law at YLS. John Morley '06, John R.
