Reunion 2007

Tuesday, October 16, 2007

Thanks to all YLS graduates who were with us this past year in New Haven. We enjoyed welcoming you back and joining in discussions with you about elections, media, and politics, as well as chatting with you informally.

Friday night's Polling Game is still reverberating in everyone's minds. We all learned a lot, while having a great time. Honoring Linda Greenhouse '78 M.S.L. and hearing about Jane Bolin '31 and Pauli Murray '65 J.S.D. were the highlights of our Saturday luncheon, as the 12 reunion classes sat together in the grand space of Commons with its many Yale flags. Saturday night reunion dinners and Sunday morning brunches brought classmates together again--at times it almost seemed as if 5, 10, 30, 45, or 60 years hadn't gone by at all. We hope you had a wonderful time reconnecting with your classmates-- and we know our students enjoyed meeting you, especially at Saturday's Breakfast Connections.

For those of you who who want to remember the weekend, and for those of you who were unable to attend and want to get a flavor of what occurred, please take a look at the photo gallery and streaming videos of the events of the weekend. We look forward to welcoming Classes of '2s and '7s back for another reunion in 2012.  Other reunion classes will be here sooner. However, we hope that all of you can visit here before your next reunion, and we look forward to the chance to visit you in your hometown!
