Dean Post to Lecture in Paris on Constitutional Protections for Academic Freedom
Yale Law School Dean and Sol & Lillian Goldman Professor of Law Robert Post ’77 will head for Paris this week to deliver several lectures.
On Friday, June 1, Dean Post will give a lunchtime talk at the École Normale Supérieur on “Democratic Constitutionalism.” Then on Monday, June 4, he will deliver a lecture at University Panthéon-Assas on “Constitutional Protections for Academic Freedom.” Introducing the lecture will be University Panthéon-Assas President and Yale Law graduate Louis Vogel ’82 LLM, as well as the Cultural Affairs Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Paris, Rafik Mansour. Dean Post will be the guest of honor at a dinner following his lecture.
Before heading home, Dean Post will meet on Friday, June 8, at the American Embassy with President Vogel and the U.S. ambassador to France, Charles Rivkin.
