Professor Ian Ayres '86 voted a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences

Dean Harold Hongju Koh announced that Professor Ian Ayres '86 has been voted a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, "a wonderful recognition of his extraordinary scholarly accomplishment and ingenuity, at a very early age.

Significantly, along with Ian, six other Yale Law School alumni-- former President Bill Clinton '73, Floyd Abrams '59 of Cahill Gordon, Seth Waxman '77 of Wilmer Hale, Ben Heineman '71 of GE, Dick Fallon '80 of Harvard, and Larry Lessig '89 of Stanford-- were also elected to the Academy this year, along with Chief Justice John Roberts, Martin Scorsese, Alan Alda, Michael Tilson-Thomas and an array of other illustrious Fellows."
