Sharon C. Brooks
Associate Dean
Sharon C. Brooks is the Associate Dean of Student Affairs at Yale Law School and she oversees the Career Development Office. A graduate of Yale Law School and New York University, she was an Articles Editor on the Yale Journal of Law & the Humanities, served on the Board of Directors for the Morris Tyler Moot Court of Appeals, and also held positions with the Black Law Students' Association and Yale Law Women. She previously served as Director for Counseling and Career Development at the Office of Career Services at New York University School of Law and as the Director of Associate Development for Dechert LLP. Sharon was a litigation associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and an antitrust associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. She is a member of the New York Bar. She returned to Yale Law School in Fall 2007. In 2009, she was the recipient of the Yale Law Women Staff Award.
