Christine Landfried

Visiting Professor of Law (spring term)
Christine Landfried is a Visiting Professor of Law at Yale Law School. She has studied Political Science, History and International Relations at the University of Heidelberg and Harvard University. She is currently the Chair of Comparative Government at the University of Hamburg and a member of the Scientific Council of the Social Science Research Center in Berlin. From September 2014 until August 2016, she will be holding the Max Weber Chair for German and European Studies at New York University. She has taught at Sciences Po in Paris, the University of California at Berkeley, and the European University Institute in Florence. Her primary teaching and research interests reside in the political impact of national and international constitutional courts as well as European integration.
