David Hawkins

David G. Hawkins is a Visiting Clinical Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School. He is the director of climate programs at the Natural Resources Defense Council in New York. In addition to directing the clean air program, air and energy program, and climate center at the Natural Resources Defense Council, Hawkins has been assistant administrator for air, noise, and radiation for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and an attorney in Washington, D.C. His essays and articles have been published in Energy and Scientific American, as well as the books Oxford Companion to Global Change and Climate Change Science and Policy.
