Katherine Wilhelm is a Senior Research Scholar in Law and Director of the Beijing Office of The China Law Center at Yale Law School. Prior to joining the Center, she was an associate in the Beijing office of Sullivan & Cromwell, LLP, where her practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and corporate governance. A graduate of Columbia Law School, Ms. Wilhelm formerly worked for two decades as a journalist and foreign correspondent for The Associated Press and the Far Eastern Economic Review, among others. She holds master’s degrees in Chinese studies from Harvard University and in journalism from Columbia University.
