Lucian Bebchuk
Visiting Professor of Law (spring term)
Lucian Bebchuk is a Visiting Professor of Law at Yale Law School and the William J. Friedman & Alicia Townsend Friedman Professor of Law, Economics, and Finance at Harvard Law School. Professor Bebchuk's main areas of research include corporate governance, law and finance, and law and economics, and he has published more than seventy academic research articles on a wide range of issues in these areas. He has been a frequent contributor to policy making and public discourse in the areas of corporate governance and law and finance both in the U.S. and abroad. He has testified before the Senate Finance Committee and the SEC. Professor Bebchuk holds an LL.M. and S.J.D. from Harvard Law School and an M.A. and Ph.D in Economics from the Harvard Economics Department. He will be teaching "Current Issues in Corporate Governance" during his visit to Yale Law School.
