Laurence T. Sorkin

Visiting Lecturer in Law
Laurence T. Sorkin is a Visiting Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School and senior counsel in the New York City law firm, Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP, where he was a partner for 35 years and headed the firm’s antitrust and trade practice group. His practice includes both antitrust counseling and litigation, and he has counseled clients on a wide variety of antitrust matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, arrangements between competitors, distribution and licensing practices, and trade association activities. He graduated from Brown University and holds an LL.B. from Yale Law School and an LL.M. from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
