Margaret H. Lemos

Anne Urowsky Visiting Professor of Law (fall term)
Margaret H. Lemos is the Anne Urowsky Visiting Professor of Law at Yale Law School and a Professor of Law at Duke Law School. She is a scholar of constitutional law, legal institutions, and procedure. Her scholarship focuses on the institutions of law interpretation and enforcement, and their effects on substantive rights; she writes in the fields of federalism, administrative law, statutory interpretation, and civil procedure. Formerly an Associate Professor at the Benjamin H. Cardozo School of Law, Lemos holds degrees from NYU School of Law and Brown University.
