Patrick DeSouza is a Visiting Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School where he co-teaches a course with Professor W. Michael Reisman. He is the President and CEO of Plain Sight Systems, a private technology company headquartered in New Haven. Mr. DeSouza spent most of his career practicing corporate law and in investment banking with significant experience in mergers and acquisitions. He also served at the White House during the Clinton Administration as Director for Inter-American Affairs on the National Security Council. In addition to various articles, he is the editor of Economic Strategy and National Security (Westview Press 2000) with former members of the Bush and Clinton Administrations and leading private individuals. Mr. DeSouza clerked for the Hon. Thomas Gibbs Gee, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He was a Senior Editor of The Yale Law Journal and Editor in Chief of the Yale Journal of International Law. Dr. DeSouza is a graduate of Columbia College, Yale Law School and has a Ph.D. from Stanford University. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
