Susan Hazeldean
Associate Research Scholar in Law and Robert M. Cover Clinical Teaching Fellow
Susan Hazeldean is an Associate Research Scholar in Law and the Robert M. Cover Clinical Teaching Fellow at Yale Law School and is the former Director of the Peter Cicchino Youth Project of the Urban Justice Center. As Director of the Cicchino Youth Project, Ms. Hazeldean supervised three attorneys and several law students from New York University's Law School clinical program in the defense of immigrant's rights. She has also worked with the New York Commissioner of the Office of Family and Children's Services to formulate a comprehensive anti-discrimination policy and guidelines on the treatment of LGBT youth in detention. Ms. Hazeldean is a graduate of Yale Law School and the University of North Carolina.
