Stephanie M. Stern

Irving S. Ribicoff Visiting Associate Professor of Law (fall term)
Stephanie M. Stern is the Irving S. Ribicoff Visiting Associate Professor of Law at Yale Law School. She is also an Associate Professor of Law and Norman and Edna Freehling Scholar at the Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she has taught since 2009. Her areas of focus are land use, environmental law, property, and commercial real estate transactions. Professor Stern received her B.A. in psychology from Brown University and her law degree from Yale Law School. Following law school, she clerked for Judge Kermit Lipez of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
