William M. Sage
Visiting Professor of Law (spring term)
William M. Sage is a Visiting Professor of Law at Yale Law School and Vice Provost for Health Affairs and James R. Dougherty Chair for Faculty Excellence at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. His areas of teaching are health law, regulatory theory, antitrust, and professional responsibility. Prior to joining the University of Texas in 2006, he taught law at Columbia and before that, was an associate at O'Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles. In 1993, he served on the President’s Task Force on Health Care Reform. He holds an A.B. from Harvard, M.D. and J.D. degrees from Stanford, and a Docteur h.c. from Université Paris Descartes.
