What Your Gift Can Do
Your annual gift can help to make a year at Yale Law School possible, and your major gift can support us in perpetuity.
- Tuition contributes approximately 33 percent of Yale Law School’s annual revenue
- The Law School’s endowment provides approximately 52 percent
- Current use gifts from alumni and friends provide most of the balance of annual revenue
- Gifts also make possible special research projects by the faculty and students
For individuals who may be interested in a gift of $100,000 or more, there are a number of opportunities to establish endowed funds that will benefit the School in perpetuity. Annual gifts of between $100 and $50,000 are vital in keeping the School going each year.
Donors may designate current use gifts of up to $100,000 to one of the following categories: unrestricted current use, financial aid/COAP, teaching and research, library, and clinical programs.
