Aug. 1: Yale begins accepting LL.M. applications
Sept. 1: Classes begin; we recommend a visit
Sept.:  Arrange to take TOEFL, if you have not yet done so
Dec. 1: Last day applications are accepted
Dec. 22-Jan 18: Winter break begins at 5 p.m.
Jan 19: Classes resume
Mid-March: Admissions decisions will be made
April 25: Classes end

About the TOEFL

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is administered throughout the world by the Educational Testing Service, Princeton, New Jersey 08541–0008, U.S.A. Communicate directly with that service to arrange to take the test, and have the result sent to LSAC's LL.M. Credential Assembly Service no later than December 15, 2015.

Please be sure to specify the LSAC institution code, 8395.

Please note that other English proficiency exams will not be accepted in place of the TOEFL.
