Scott Stephenson
Scott Stephenson is Tutor in Law and a J.S.D. candidate at Yale Law School. Prior to coming to Yale, Scott worked at the High Court of Australia, first as the Court’s Legal Research Officer and then as Clerk to Justice Virginia Bell. He has tutored property law at the Australian National University College of Law, worked at the Australian Administrative Review Council and undertaken legal research for professors at the Australian National University and Yale Law School. He received a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in International Relations and a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours and the University Medal in Law from the Australian National University and a Master of Laws from Yale University. Scott Stephenson’s academic interests include the fields of administrative law, comparative law, constitutional law, human rights law, and legal and political theory. He is writing his J.S.D. dissertation on the origins and constitutional implications of rights instruments in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
