Vice President Wang Liming visits Yale Law School
As Vice President of Renmin University, and a Member of the Law Committee of National People's Congress Dr. Wang is one of China's most respected legal scholars. On September 14, 2009, Dr. Wang spoke with over a dozen students and faculty about a wide range of contemporary legal issues in China. He answered questions about everything from recent transnational developments in legal education, to the controversies surrounding the revision of the Tort Law. Dr. Wang was particularly concerned about protecting privacy and personal information in a society where such information is discovered and disseminated immediately through the media and internet.
