Colin Agur

Colin Agur is pursuing his PhD in Communications at Columbia University. His research interests center on how ICTs are being put to use in low income countries and what these countries' narratives reveal about technological adoption. His dissertation, focused on mobile communications in India, will involve ethnographic field work in Delhi and Mumbai in 2012-13. Previously he taught Economics and International Affairs at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Alberta and an MA in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick.
