Applications now being accepted for Linkages 2012
To apply to the program, submit to the program coordinator a statement of interest, a current resume, and a law school transcript (1Ls need not include the transcript). The statement of interest should explain the candidate's qualifications (previous travel and research in the region), what they hope to gain from the experience, and how they feel they can contribute to the program in no more than 3 double-spaced pages. Application materials may either be emailed to the program coordinator (firstname.lastname@example.org) or left for him at the mailroom. Following receipt of the application, the coordinator will schedule an appointment to evaluate the candidate's level in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
An information meeting with the faculty directors of the program, Professors Burt, Fiss, and Markovits, will be held on Tuesday, October 18, from 4:30 to 5:30 in room 122. Interested students are encouraged to contact the coordinator if they cannot attend the informational session or have any questions.
The application deadline is Monday, November 7. The results of the selection process will be communicated towards the end of November and planning for the program will begin before winter recess.
