John Langford

John is a J.D. candidate in the class of 2014 at Yale Law School.  At Yale, he is a member of the Yale Law & Policy Review.  Before coming to Yale, he worked on a capital punishment case at the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the District of Vermont.  Prior to that, he worked for a Vermont NGO dedicated to establishing secondary schools in Southern Sudan.  John received a B.A. in Law and Politics from Oberlin College where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and participated in the Oberlin Law Scholars program.  He also received a B.M. in Percussion Performance from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and studied at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in The Netherlands.
