China Law Center Director Paul Gewirtz and Colleagues Visit Hunan Province for Talks on Administrative Law with Governor Zhou Qiang
On May 17, China Law Center Director Paul Gewirtz, Associate Director Jeffrey Prescott, and Professor Wang Xixin of Peking University visited Changsha, Hunan Province for talks on administrative law with Governor Zhou Qiang and other Hunan legal officials. Governor Zhou noted the long history of cooperation between Hunan and Yale and lauded the visit as an important channel for understanding the practices of other countries in the arena of administrative rule of law. Chinese attendants at the meeting included the Director of Hunan's High People's Court, the Secretary of the Hunan Provincial Government, and representatives of the Hunan Legislative Affairs Office.
