Ximena Benavides

Ximena Benavides is Professor of Property at Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. Her scholarship also includes law and development, foreign investment and emerging markets. In 2006, she was a fellow of the Olin Center for Law, Economics and Public Policy at Yale Law School and researched on public private partnerships for infrastructure in Peru.  She is also an associate at Estudio Grau (Lima, Peru). Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, financial transactions, project finance, oil and gas, infrastructure and property. From 2006 to 2008, Ximena was an associate in the International Corporate Department of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP (New York office) working on project finance restructuring, corporate control and international investment arbitrations with particular emphasis on Latin America and oil & gas industry.
