Marcelo Ferrante

Marcelo Ferrante is Professor of Law at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His primary research and teaching interests are criminal law and legal philosophy, especially criminal responsibility and the philosophy of the criminal law. He has published several articles and chapters of books on these subjects in Spanish, German, and English. Before turning to a full-time academic life, Prof. Ferrante had been attorney at Ricardo Gil Lavedra & Asoc., and law clerk to Justice Enrique S. Petracchi at the Supreme Court of Justice of Argentina. He is an editor of the New Criminal Law Review: An International and Interdisciplinary Journal, and a member of the academic board of the Revista Argentina de Teoría Jurídica.
