Leonardo G. Filippini

Leonardo G. Filippini received his law degree with honors from the University of Buenos Aires (1998), where he served as editor-in-chief of the Law Review. He holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Palermo (2004) and a Master of Laws degree from Yale Law School (2006). During 2004-5 he was a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow at the University of Minnesota. Mr. Filippini's professional experience combines law clerking appointments at different courts, advocacy work at human rights organizations, and consultancy services to the United Nations Development Programme and the International Center for Transitional Justice. Mr. Filippini has taught criminal law and human rights law at the Universities of Palermo and Buenos Aires, and he is currently completing a doctorate at Yale Law School on the internalization of international law.
