Usha Chilukuri is a member of the YLS class of 2013. Her academic and professional interests include media law and intellectual property. At Yale, she is a member of the Media Freedom and Information Access Clinic and Executive Development Editor of the Yale Law Journal, and she previously served as Managing Editor of the Yale Journal of Law & Technology. She spent her summers at Levine Sullivan Koch & Schulz LLP in New York and Denver and Williams & Connolly LLP in Washington, DC.
Usha graduated from Yale College in 2007. She then worked as a Yale-China Teaching Fellow in Guangzhou, China and as a legal and financial analyst at a boutique litigation firm in New York City. She also holds an MPhil in Early Modern History from the University of Cambridge, where she researched the regulation of the book trade and monopolistic printing rights in seventeenth-century England as a Gates-Cambridge scholar.
