Verónica Undurraga

Assistant Professor of Law at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Santiago, Chile.

Verónica Undurraga holds a J.D. from Universidad de Chile and an LL.M. from Columbia University. She is a J.S.D. candidate at Universidad de Chile and member of Red Latinoamericana de Académico/as del Derecho (RED ALAS).

Participated in SELA, Bogotá, Colombia, June 8-11, 2006.

Presented a paper on “Gender Equality”, Consejo Ampliado de Corporación Expansiva, May 11, 2006 (publication pending). Participated as a moderator, Roundtable “Equality: Is It Here to Stay?” organized by Corporación Expansiva and Universidad de Chile’s Law School, May 24, 2006.

Presented a paper on “Access to Justice: When Women are Victims of Discrimination,” Meeting of Experts “A Look at Access to Justice in Southern Cone Countries” organized by the Rapporteurship on Women’s Rights, Organization of American States, Buenos Aires, October 12-13, 2005.

Presented a paper on “Diverse Ways of Life: Homosexuality, Seminar “The Chile that is Coming IV”, Centro de Estudios Públicos y Expansiva, August 25. Paper will be published in Revista del Centro de Estudios Públicos in the second semester of 2006.

Participated as a commentator in Panel “Disfranchised People and the Legal System,” SELA, Rio de Janeiro, June 16-19. Comments were published in the SELA Book 2006.

Presented a paper on “Privacy as a Legal Good,” Jornadas Nacionales de Derecho Civil. Universidad Austral, Valdivia, April 7-8, 2005. Paper was published in Estudios de Derecho Civil, Editorial LexisNexis, 2005.
