Xiyin Tang is a Visiting Fellow at the Yale Information Society Project and an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York. Her research interests center around the evolving nature of the new information/digital age and its intersection with the strictures of intellectual property law. Her most recent work on the commodification of art and its implications for moral rights/trademark law will be published in the Yale Law Journal.
Xiyin holds a J.D. from Yale, where she twice received the faculty award for best paper on copyright law and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Journal of Law and Technology. She received her B.A. in English Literature and Creative Writing from Columbia University, where she was Features Editor for the Columbia Daily Spectator and wrote for publications such as New York Magazine and Paper Magazine.
