Professor Wang Xixin, who resides in Beijing but works closely with the Center, is Associate Professor of Law and Associate Dean for External Affairs of the Peking University Law School. One of China’s leading younger scholars, Professor Wang’s major fields of research and teaching at Peking University Law School are administrative law, constitutional law, and comparative legal studies. He has also been involved in drafting legislation and consulting on legislative issues in China as a member of the Administrative Legislation Research Group and as a Research Consultant for the General Office of the Standing Committee of China’s National People’s Congress.
Zhen Liu, Fellow
Zhen Liu is a fellow of the Center, based in New Haven. Before joining the Center, she was a research associate at the Council on Foreign Relations and a researcher for the U.S.-Asia Law Institute of NYU. From 2003 to 2004, she was a frequent contributor on legal issues for the China Economic Times. She has an LLM degree from NYU Law School, and an LLB from Zhejiang University.
Neysun Mahboubi, Fellow
Neysun Mahboubi is a Fellow of the Center, and Tutor-in-Law at Yale Law School. Previously, he was a Fellow of the Center for Chinese Legal Studies at Columbia Law School. He has worked as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, and as a law clerk to the Hon. Douglas P. Woodlock of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. At Yale, he has led the Reading Group on Contemporary Chinese Law, and co-directed the Social Science Workshop on Contemporary China. He is a graduate of Princeton University and Columbia Law School.
