Margot Kaminski

Margot Kaminski is a 2L at Yale Law School.  She worked at the Electronic Frontier Foundation as a 2008 Google Policy Fellow.  Along with other ISP fellows Leah Belsky and Adrienna Wong, she is heading a reading group at YLS on privacy law and electronic surveillance, in conjunction with EFF.  Prior to law school, Margot worked at The Wylie Agency, an international literary agency centered in New York.  She has also worked at Creative Commons, and as a freelance writer for The San Francisco Chronicle, The New York Sun, and Gastronomica.  Her current interest is in critically examining the international harmonization of IP law, particularly as regards the standardization of criminal enforcement measures.  She is also interested in the privacy implications of electronic discovery, under the auspices of copyright law.  In the winter, she's a PSIA-certified ski instructor at Vail, Colorado.  Apparently "champagne powder" is a registered trademark owned by Steamboat-- but that doesn't mean Vail doesn't get its share.
