
About the Pharos Uniprint SystemHow do I get a printing account?All on-line print account management functions require a PrintlD. For most users, this is their NetlD and uses the same password. Library visitors may create a PrintlD. If you do not know your NetlD or you are a visitor and need to set up a PrintlD, visit the ITS Print Account Management web page and select the appropriate link from the menu on the left. There are four methods of adding funds to a print account:
How do I print or copy?
Print to the Canon ImageRunner 3300 from a Windows or Macintosh computer in the Reading Room as you normally would by selecting "Print" from the File/Print Menu. After sending the print job from your computer go to the Print Station located next to the elevator, across from the circulation desk. Logon the Print Station with your NetID/PrintID and password. You will now see all the jobs in the print queue and the funds available in your account. The print queue displays a user name, the name of the job, the number of pages, and how much it will cost to print it. Select the job you want to print and then click on "PRINT". How can I print from my Mac or Windows laptop?See this handout for step-by-step instructions. You can then print from anywhere you have a network connection, even wirelessly. NOTE: To print from an off-campus location, you should turn on your VPN connection before printing. What if I need a refund?If you were charged for a page that did not print or for a defective page, please contact a Computing Assistant or RIS Client-Site Printing and Copying at: 764-7015.
