ShareLaw

ShareLaw allows Yale Law faculty, staff, and students to request circulating materials from any member of the ShareLaw consortium* for delivery to this library. All available materials will be sent by the lending library via overnight mail, and the patron will be notified via e-mail when an item arrives. The loan period is 28 days, with 2 possible renewals of 28 days each.

Patrons can request items directly in two ways:

1. Search ShareLaw directly at the ShareLaw web site. Use this method if you know we do not have the item you need in the law library or another library at Yale University.

2. Search for an item in Morris. If this item is unavailable (either missing or checked out), click on Search ShareLaw link and then follow the prompts.

If you need assistance with your ID# (it is not your SID; it is embedded in the bar code on your Yale ID) the circulation desk staff will assist you. Please call (203) 432-1608. Questions: Martha Clark at (203) 432-1609 or martha.clark@yale.edu

*Consortium members include the law libraries of George Washington University, University of California at Berkeley, University of Miami, University of Texas, University of Washington, and Yale University.
