Linking to Documents in Library Databases

Posting course readings, such as law review articles, directly onto a course website for students to download can raise potential copyright issues (see, e.g., the Georgia State U. lawsuit). Instead, a best practice for faculty is to link directly to the source material on a research database, when possible. Westlaw, LexisNexis and Hein Online each provide an easy method for creating direct links to their documents.
