Alumni Weekend 2010: A Weekend Odyssey Exploring Science and Law
An outstanding lineup of alumni, faculty, and other expert panelists will examine how advances in science have changed our lives and impacted the law. Discussion topics range from science and the three branches of government, to the law and emerging technologies, to the “CSI effect” and how popular conceptions of criminal proof may affect the criminal process.
Highlights of the weekend include Friday night’s All Alumni reception and dinner and Saturday’s presentation of the Yale Law School Award of Merit to four co-founders of the Natural Resources Defense Council: James Gustave Speth ’69, Richard Ayres ’69, Edward Strohbehn Jr. ’69, and John Bryson ’69. A student-alumni breakfast on Saturday morning will give alumni the opportunity to be matched with current students to chat about common areas of interest.
Detailed information about the weekend’s activities, along with online registration, lodging information, and a complete schedule of events, is available on the Alumni Weekend website.
