Gruber Foundation at Yale Will Support Global Justice and Women’s Rights Initiatives at the Law School
Philanthropists Patricia and Peter Gruber and Yale University President Richard C. Levin have announced the formation of the Gruber Foundation at Yale University, which will include among its three major initiatives the Gruber Program for Global Justice and Women’s Rights at Yale Law School. This program will support the Law School’s annual Global Constitutionalism Seminar and establish the Gruber Distinguished Global Justice and Women’s Rights Lectures and the Gruber Global Justice and Women’s Rights Fellowships. “Global justice, women’s rights, and the Global Constitutionalism Seminar are three critically important components of our mission at the Law School, and we are exceedingly grateful to the Grubers for their generous gift,” said Yale Law Dean Robert Post ’77. The other initiatives that will be supported by the Gruber Foundation at Yale are the Gruber Prizes and the Young Scientists Awards; and the Gruber Science Fellowship Program at Yale.
