Ronald Sullivan and Beth Barnes Receive YLS Teaching and Staff Awards
At a ceremony on May 5, 2005, Ronald S. Sullivan Jr. and Beth Barnes were presented with the first annual Yale Law School Teaching and Staff Awards. Sullivan is an associate clinical professor and founded the Samuel and Anna Jacobs Criminal Justice Clinic. Barnes is the associate registrar.
Sullivan spoke about the importance of justice in his work at the Law School.
Barnes received her award plaque from Dean Harold Hongju Koh.
The Teaching and Staff Awards are given based on nominations by current YLS students. They were sponsored for the last eight years by the Yale Law Women, and this is the first year that the School has adopted the awards.
