Information on Commencement 2006
Yale Law School’s Commencement ceremony will take place on Monday, May 22, 2006.
The festivities will begin with a pre-Commencement reception for graduating students and their guests on Sunday, May 21, 2006, at 5:00 p.m. in the Law School Dining Hall Dean Harold Hongju Koh and his wife Mary-Christy Fisher will host the reception.
Following the University’s Commencement exercises, the Law School’s ceremony will take place at approximately 12:00 p.m. in the Law School courtyard, where the degrees will be conferred.
In case of rain, the ceremony will take place in Payne Whitney Gymnasium’s Lanman Center.
Immediately following the ceremony, there will be a champagne reception and a buffet luncheon at the Law School. View a schedule with exact times and locations.
The Class of 2006 has elected Deputy Dean and Elizabeth K. Dollard Professor of Law Dan Kahan to be its class speaker.
