Prof. Judith Resnik’s Convocation Address at Bryn Mawr College

Judith Resnik, the Arthur Liman Professor of Law at Yale Law School, gave the Commencement Convocation address at Bryn Mawr College on May 13. Resnik is a 1972 graduate of Bryn Mawr. Her Convocation remarks were titled “Border, Law, and Doors--Opening” and addressed issues of the American Constitution and international lawmaking.

Prof. Resnik founded the Arthur Liman Public Interest Program at Yale Law School in 1997. Her areas of expertise include procedure, large-scale litigation, federal courts, federalism, and feminist theories and law. She is the author of several books, including Adjudication and Its Alternatives: An Introduction to Procedure (co-authored with Prof. Owen Fiss) and The Process of Law: Understanding Courts and their Alternatives.
