Results of Inaugural Fifth-Year Career Development Survey
Over three-quarters of respondents in the Class of 1996 reported themselves either "satisfied" or "very satisfied" with their current employment. Graduates working in academia and public service had the highest levels of satisfaction. These are two of the results of a recent survey of YLS alumni at the five-year mark of their graduation from the School.
In the summer of 2001, the Career Development Office (CDO) sent the first annual Fifth-Year Career Development Survey to the Class of 1996 inquiring about their career track. Thanks to the fifty-five percent of the Class who responded to our questionnaire, the data tell an interesting story about our graduates and will enhance CDO's ability to counsel students and graduates about career choices and expectations.
