Professor Jonathan Macey '82 Testifies Before Senate Judiciary Committee
Deputy Dean and Sam Harris Professor of Corporate Law, Corporate Finance, and Securities Law Jonathan R. Macey '82 testified before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, September 26, 2006, at the full committee hearing on insider trading.
The hearing's title was "Illegal Insider Trading: How Widespread is the Problem and is There Adequate Criminal Enforcement?"
Professor Macey's areas of expertise include banking law and regulation and corporate governance. He is the author of several books including the two-volume treatise, Macey on Corporation Laws, and is co-author of two leading casebooks, Corporations: Including Partnerships and Limited Liability Companies and Banking Law and Regulation.
