Professor Kenji Yoshino Receives 2006 Myers Outstanding Book Award for “Covering”
Guido Calabresi Professor of Law Kenji Yoshino has been honored by a national human rights center for his book Covering: The Hidden Assault on Our Civil Rights (Random House 2006). Yoshino’s book was one of ten to receive the 2006 Myers Outstanding Book Award from The Gustavus Myers Center for the Study of Bigotry and Human Rights. The award recognizes works published in a given year that make a significant contribution to the advancement of human rights. The 2006 Myers awards were announced on December 10, International Human Rights Day.
