Photos and Videos Capture High Points of Alumni Weekend 2007
Nearly 1,000 Yale Law School grads returned to campus the weekend of Oct. 12-14, 2007, for one of the most successful Alumni Weekends ever. Now they, and you, can relive or enjoy for the first time highlights of the weekend by visiting the photo galleries and streaming videos available on the Yale Law School Alumni website.
Watch panel discussions of such topics as “The New Tools: The Internet Influencing Democracy,” “The Media Covering Elections: Heroes or Villains?” and “Race, Politics, and the Voting Rights Act,” featuring such notables as Court TV founder Steven Brill '75, U.S. District Court Judge Myron Thompson ’72, New York Times Managing Editor Jill Abramson, and Jeff Greenfield ’67 of CBS News.
Other streaming video includes Saturday’s presentation of the YLSA Award of Merit to New York Times Supreme Court correspondent Linda Greenhouse ’78 M.S.L.; and a memorial tribute to Yale Law School pioneers Jane Bolin ’31 and Pauli Murray ’65 J.S.D.
Extensive photo galleries capture many of the weekend’s stimulating, thought-provoking and lighthearted moments, from Friday night's “Polling Game” hosted by Stanford Law Professor Pamela Karlan ’84 to Saturday’s student-alumni breakfast to the various receptions and reunion dinners.
