Dean Harold Hongju Koh and the faculty of Yale Law School will host a jazz concert in memory of Professor Stanton Wheeler on Sunday, April 13, 2008, at Yale Law School. Professor Wheeler, Ford Foundation Professor Emeritus of Law and the Social Sciences at Yale Law School, died December 7, 2007.
 
The concert will celebrate Professor Wheeler’s life and music and will feature performances by the four jazz groups with which Professor Wheeler played:  the Clamdiggers, the Reunion Jazz Ensemble, the King Street Stompers, and the Yale Jazz Ensemble.
 
The memorial concert begins at 1:30 p.m. in the Law School auditorium.  A reception will immediately follow the concert in the Yale Law School dining hall.  Yale Law School is located at 127 Wall Street in New Haven.
